This evening at 7:00pm on the Discovery channel tight rope walker Nik Wallenda will walk over the city of Chicago. The second half of that walk will be with him blindfolded. Nik did not wear any safety gear for the last televised event. The YouTube video below is the full, live Grand Canyon walk. I watched it live and it was an awe inspiring, terrifying experience. I will be watching tonight though I’m not sure why I watch. I guess it’s BC it’s history being made. Perhaps it’s the seemingly death defying aspect, that anything could happen? Whatever the reason I will be watching and saying a prayer for Nik and his family! Will you be watching?
