Giants and Jets win, Sunday complete.

So nice to see The New York Giants defeat the Dallas Cowboys 35-14 and the Jets winning against the Buffalo Bills.

NY Giants
NY Jets

I love this time of year, holidays approaching, snow any day now and the smell of fireplaces outside. Sundays in the Fall are somehow better, and the time zone switch really lifted my spirits today. Love is in the air.

Love for Elie Manning, The Giants, Thanksgiving Dinner, Entourage, bundling up, warm blankets and hot chocolate. I am clearly enjoying it. Hope you are too.

Walter “Sweetness” Payton #34

It’s Superbowl XLII time again and I am reminded of my favorite football player Walter “Sweetness” Payton #34.   He defied gravity, ran as if he never touched the ground, played with the heart of a warrior and had the respect of all who played with or against him.  His talent lives on in these captured moments of some of the most amazing football ever played.

Walter Jerry Payton (July 25, 1954 – November 1, 1999) was an American football player, who played for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. He is remembered as one of the most prolific running backs in the history of American football. Payton, a nine-time Pro Bowl selection, once held the League’s record for most career rushing yards, touchdowns, carries, and many other categories. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993. The NFL player and coach Mike Ditka described Payton as the greatest football player he had ever seen – but even greater as a human being.

GO GIANTS!
